Hello all here at R2R! My name is Andrew from Hattiesburg, MS. I have just started into this hobby and its been interesting and expensive to say the least! I have a 46G Pentagon Corner tank. I have 35 pounds of manado LR. 40 pds of Live sand. I have one Circ pump, not sure of brand but does 100gph. I just ordered my LED fixture from Reefbreeders, and waiting for that to ship. Have just added my CUC last week. I have no sump or skimmer, but plan on adding a skimmer soon as the money is built back up, haha. Thanks everyone! and I will try to post a pic or 2 when I get home..shhh I am at work ;-)

Welcome to R2R and reefkeeping in general. You will be glad you joined a forum. You cant beat instant help from knowledgeable people that arent trying to sell you something.
 
haha thanks a lot James and Krys. Yeah Ive learned a bunch from this site, this hoppy is tricky for sure. Can't wait for my lights to get here and get some life in there. CUC is fun to watch, but need something that moves a bit faster, or has some nicer colors. Thanks for the greetings!
 
and my Circ pump does 1000 GPH. not 100 haha. should I purchas a couple of nano pumps to get the surface a bit more movement? I tried to add pictures but it said they are too large

I would get at least 1 powerhead for the display. Did you try uploading them in the gallery here?
 
Yeah, it tells me they are too big. And I have looked at going with 2 550 Hydors sense they on sale right now, and getting rid of this crap-o-la one

2nd picture, I was wanting to know what th white bushy things are. I was guessing feather dusters but they are mighty small. have grown twice the size past 3 4 days. Cant really tell from the pic though sorry. its my phone. :(
 
Probably just feather dusters. They come and go. You will see tons of critters appear as your tank progresses.
 
Oh, ok. I had a snail die and one of the hermits took his shell.. looked like 4 of them fought over it haha. James Ive seen you on other forum I believe. thanks for all your advise over multiple of forums haha
