Hello!
I've been out of the reef tank game for about 12 years. Last time I had a tank I had a 3ft cube tank mixed reef. I had a beautiful ritteri anemone (basketball sized when fully inflated) with a mated pair of black clowns that was my pride and joy.
After a massive multi-day blackout wiped my tank out, I have been out of the hobby, but it's given me time to get married, move to a new house, and have a baby. My wife knew I was in to saltwater reefs before we met (my tank sat in our basement for the longest time) and when she noticed how much our son loves staring at anything water/fish (at the zoo, nature shows, tank screensavers) she suggested that we get a tank set up for him (and because she knows me so well she knows it's also for me)
We are starting with a second hand nuvo 30L aio set up in our living room while we finish our basement at the new house and with long term plans to put a large reef tank in the basement in a couple of years.
I'm excited to get back in the hobby, but have a lot of catching up to do with new tech (LED wifi controllable lights? Wifi pumps? Controllers?)
But I'm very excited to be back. [emoji4]

.... This incident prompted the purchase of a natural gas generator that goes on automatically. Welcome back
