Alright people. Just getting back into it after a ten year lay off (kids x2). The new money pit has been ordered. Lead time is 3 weeks. Setting up a shallow rimless reeftank 1100mm long x 500mm wide x 350mm high. All in one so no sump. Solid oak sideboard delivered a couple of days ago to sit it on. Planning on running without lights at least a couple of months. Tunze Comline skimmer and filter. Peninsula style with all the gear at one end hidden behind some Caribsea life rock shapes. Hoping to pick up a maxspect gyre but will see how it goes.

Looking forward to creating a build thread.

Thanks, me too lol. It's going to be a slow-burner as I'm planning on quarantining everything that goes into the tank as I've dealt with ich in the past. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure as they say. It's just boring

Definitely matey, hoping to learn a little about photography and videography along the way. Have a digital SLR and a 4k GoPro sat collecting dust. Always good to have some before and after pics too.
