Hey All,

I'm fairly new to TN, going on 3 years but new to this website. I was looking to join a local marine club and googled frag swap for Nashville and found the MTRC website which pretty much directed me here.

So here I am. I am living in Smyrna and have a 120 gallon display with a 50 gallon sump. The tank was started on Christmas of 2011 so is almost one year old.

Stocked with marco dry rock, 2 false perula clowns, 1 foxface, 1 sixline wrasse, 1 Pacific Blue Tang, duncan coral, crown leather coral, 3 monti caps (green, purple, orange/red). Still building slowly but surely.

Just thought I'd give a quick intro. Hope to be able to make one of the meetings soon. Unfortunately I cannot make the meeting this month though...

Welcome. You'll like it here.

I feel so welcome already. Can't wait to meet everyone and get to the meetings and such. I've never been to a meeting for a fish club so I am really excited to see what it is all about. Also great to have the wealth of knowledge at our finger tips on this website! Thank you everyone!!!

Quick preview of my passion.

thank you. I'm glad I reached out. Starting to see I'm surrounded by a bunch of reef geeks as I call myself.

Nice tank.

Thanks! Need more corals!!! The goal is to keep the bio load really low so my plan is to only add a pair of purple fire fish and a handful more corals. Would like some mushrooms, zoo's, toadstool, and maybe take a stab at Acropora...

Howdy! There is also Emerald Bay in the Old Hickory/Hermitage area. As a tip, you might want to start saving now for our annual frag swap!

Hey Brandon. I've tried to find Emerald Bay before and was not successful. Did it just open recently? Like in the past year or two? I think I tried to find it but it wasn't open yet, or something like that.

I'll save as much as I can. My fiance and I are newly engaged so all the extra funds are going to the wedding. If it weren't for that ring I'd have a monster reef! LOL She is worth it! Plus being somewhat broke is keeping me patient with this build!

I think fins of Franklin is out of buisinesss, stopped by there a couple weeks ago and they were closed with a sign saying sorry....or something.

Doesn't surprise me about Fins... Didn't really have a good feeling about that place. People were nice but there stock didn't ever look that good.

Welcome to the MTRC forums. Congratz on getting married! Smyrna/LaVergne is taking over! The tank looks good man.
