To create a coral dip with Lugol's, use 30 drops per gallon of RO/DI water (DIP ONLY). Submerge your corals in the solution for 10 minutes or so.

Coral dips are generally used before introducing the coral to your system. If your corals are in distress, subjecting them to a coral dip will probably make them worse. In the situation where you have multiple corals not looking right, then I would perform a series of larger water changes... even if you think your parameters are fine.

30-40 drops of Lugols per one gallon of tank water for about 10 minutes, not RO/DI water. RO/DI water is fresh water which would most likely kill the coral in a 10 minute dip.

Good catch reefpets. I was just working on my RO/DI unit and had it on the brain. Yes, you'll definitely want to use saltwater when making a coral dip.
