Hello,

This Wrasse hasn't been very active theast few days. He was hidding in pcc in my qt tank. The tanks is already being treated with gen cure. I don't know what the bloches are. There is no ammonia in the tank.

Thanks

also I do have to mention that I know I have a fish that has some internal parasites. I am treating that with gen cure and focus in their food. It looks like a bacterial infection to me. just no sure.

Are the splotches staying there all day? They sleep in a mucus cocoon. If it's sticking around all day and he isn't active then I would also suspect a bacterial infection.

So now I see white stringy poop. So now I know he has internal stuff as well. The sploches are seeming to come and go.

My question now is if he isn't eating how do I get the get cure into him. It's in the water colum. Us that enough?

If he won't eat that is the hard part. Dose the water. Hope he gets enough to begin eating and still feed treated food.

How is he doing?

I'm also quarantining a Lineatus wrasse that showed the same symptoms while on day 1 of therapeutic copper treatment (chelated @ ~2.0). She had been very active until that day and I noticed the same white blemishes, a lack of activity and a lack of appetite (did not eat live brine).

I performed a 75% water change and dosed copper in the replaced water to maintain therapeutic levels and within an hour she was eating and swimming normally. Her white blemishes were significantly reduced but still remain. I can't really explain what caused the turn around as I had previously done a 50% water change three days prior and everything with her and my interactions with her have remained consistent.
