That looks like cyanobacteria.

Can you post your water chemistry numbers? Salinity, Alk, Calc, NO3, and PO4?

No problem, and welcome to Reef2Reef!!!

Are you using tap water for water changes?? Do you have a skimmer on your tank?? Without a skimmer and using tap water cyano will take hold and cover everything. Before using chemicals make sure you have a skimmer or have it dialed in correctly and switch to rodi water.

I bought the tests and one was not of the alk

I have results for the rest of the things
Cal -480
Po4 -0.05
No3- 1
Ph 8.4
Salinity -1.025
No2 -0.05
Nh4-0.05

Thanks again

Those don't look too bad. One of the first things I normally recommend when dealing with cyanobacteria is to try and get NO3 above 4ppm. What are you doing for filtration? Are you dosing anything?

Hello friend and thanks

I make water changes and clean sludge once a week .. I have a scrimer on the upper level .. This acceleration started at one point After I dismantled I began to lay on all the acres Lighting works 6 hours a day And I really prefer without chemicals

I'm going to recommend to stop adding the bacteria for a bit. I feel that we need to get nitrates to come up a bit. Some cyano cannot form mats when NO3 is above 3ppm. I feel that if you can raise your NO3, and stir the cyano mats to break them up one or two times a day, that the issue will resolve itself. It may take a week or two for your nutrients to climb.

I would do this for at least a week, and testing your NO3 every day. If at the end of a week your NO3 is still less than 3ppm you may want to consider turning your skimmer off for a week to let nutrients build up.

Good luck! And please keep asking questions if you don't see improvement or have new concerns!
