I've kept a fowlr tank that is about 30 gal for a few years now. I am a very casual hobbyist. I like to think I am responsible and take the well-being of any livestock to heart. I am looking to upgrade to a better system and plan to hunt through this site to get ideas on how to do things with as simple a process as possible. I'm considering a reef tank, so here I am.
I'll probably lurk around for a while to get the feel of things, but hope to start asking questions once I've gotten comfortable.
Thank you! I'll definitely check out the Supreme Guide, and I am interested in a build thread when I get to that stage.Welcome to R2R! Lurk awayIf you have a chance you should check out @revhtree Supreme Guide to setting up a reef tank aquarium. Some of the info might be redundant for you but I find myself referring back to it from time to time. It might help in your new tank decision process. Looking forward to hearing about your decision and hopefully, we'll get a build thread from you soon

Thank you! I will definitely be taking my time. Like most people I've seen on here, my dreams are bigger than my wallet, and I'm just starting to try to figure out where I want the balance to be. I look forward to seeing the choices you make also.Welcome!! At last, someone doing exactly what I am. But I have had my FOWLR only a few weeks - a 29 gallon. I learn something new here everyday. You will enjoy it! And as Ron Reefman says in his articles here - take your time and take your time. And need I remind you - take your time.![]()
