hi welcome to the reef going to love it here!!
lots of fun/info/fun/help/fun....

Hello Cinderella! Would love to see your tank! My one suggestion, OK multiple, would be to start doing more things to export byproducts out of your tank. Most of us have been there. No easy fix. It takes time. I now stir my sand or vacuum regularly. Do regular water changes. Put the socks back in to catch fine particles. Took quite a few months but the tank is looking so much better. I also did dose carbon for a bit at first.

There is so much to read and learn about getting rid of GHA. And lots to read on ich also. Good luck with both.

Glad to have you,
Shelley

Hey, i do 25 % every 2 maybe 3 weeks also stir up the gravel, ( mainly because my eel hides his stinking rotting food under there) I have done a water change a little more the last two weeks because I had to stop my fish from cooking in a 35'c tank, I have a uv steriliser, carbon in my filter, and a whole clean up crew, my water prem= KH 14, PH 8,2 NH4, <0.05 NO2,<0.01 CA <0.05 NO3 10 :( PO4 <0.02 I only have 2 nemos, 1 eel, 1 puffer, 1 tassel, and dorie. And about 5 corals. So I wouldn't say my tank is over stocked.
My problems are green hair typ algae and orange algae on the sand ( but again I believe that comes from my eel storing his food ) and this week I have lost my foxface, angel, and lawnmower blenny, my puffer is in a medi tank. With what I am assuming to be ich,
