Hello!!!

Welcome to R2R!

Hello everyone! I am justttt getting back into the hobby after a few years. I had a 60g FOWLR tank back in 2014 and then had to tear it down when I moved away for college. Well I am finally back and just started a 32g Biocube in my apartment about a month ago. I plan on doing a full reef, but for now just have a few softie frags to make sure all is well and stable. I have a couple aqua-cultured clowns coming in a few days as well from another hobbyist. My tank is just now going through a ~mild~ ugly phase, but I am excited with how it is shaping up. A lot has changed in the hobby since I was last year and I am still catching up on the latest, but it is great to be here and I am excited to join the community.

Here's a FTS as of today. Definitely getting there but waiting for these stupid diatoms to subside. It's hard to tell from the picture, but theres quite a few more uglies going on than the camera picks up lol.

Nice to meet you all!!! Will probably be hearing a lot more from me around the forums as my tank continues to get spun up.

Welcome! Glad you joined.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:

excellent, I just started my thread! How can I link it to my profile specifically?

Let me be among the first to say CONGRATS on your build thread! I see your badge so you figured it out. Sorry I've been so busy with the holidays today is the first I've been back on R2R since that day.

Welcome to R2R and welcome back to reefing !

Thankfully, the ugly phase will pass. So embrace the journey, do some research, fill out your plan, and take in the wisdom here.

Best wishes in 2022,
Jim
