Helloooooo allllllll!!!!!!! Hampton Virginia here!

WOW!!! before when i was in, i would go over to that side of the water all the time, mostly every weekend. Super glad REEFCHIEF is still around, I remember when he was dealing out of his garage and doing an awesome job at it! I was planing to make some rounds this weekend just to make sure there are still places to go, before I make the full commitment. I am looking at doing a 280, as my space limits have been set. (72x36x24). My last tank was a 210, so I wanted to go bigger.

I am glad there are so many local that are on this site as well, the support I am sure will be priceless. With that being said, I am looking at a place called glass cages for the tank. I have heard both good and bad about them. I would not mind supporting someone local so if anyone sees a 280ish let me know. Again super glad to be getting back in, its been way to long!

going to be in Arlington for the weekend, are the beaches open in Va? oh sorry
Welcome to R2R!!
They are yes, specifically in Hampton there is a place called Ft Monroe, and they are open all the time.

Forgot to mention Aquariums Unlimited in VB on Holland. Mark and Donny own it and it is one of the better LFS in the area.
I agree, my favorite place in Virginia Beach!!

Welcome to R2R and the wonderful folks, information and help.
Patience, it is the big word around here, Reefing is patience to cycle, to watch things grow, to keep your tank balanced.
I recommend to everyone joining to create a tank build thread.
1. You get to see where you have started and how much you have grown in this hobby.
2. We love pictures and to see what your doing with your tank.
3. It’s a great learning tool for all of us to see what works and doesn’t . We learn great stuff from each other.
Lastly the only bad question here is the one not asked...

Welcome ! I have the exact tank size mentioned and love it.. I got mine from Crystal Dynamic Aquariums. I had a great experience with them and the quality is top notch...
