#reefsquad any disease experts around?

I would say it might be ich. My first thing would be to do a fresh water dip and put them in your QT tank with brand new salt water after the dip. And then watch closely to how the fish reacts.

They seem like they don't have alot of time. Do you have buckets you use for water changes?

I suspect early stages of Brook based on what I can see.

It would be best to give these guys a 5min FW dip. Move them to QT. Post pics under light in the am. If you have Metroplex I'd dose that as soon as they are in the QT. They will need treated for 10 days following the dosing instructions.

Yes i have buckets and a heatets and power heads can i throw a qt setup together to be ok untill morning when i can go get a actual QT setup

Yeah I have done this before in a bucket. As long as the power heads aren't too powerful.

Also humblefish has a great thread on how to do a tank transfer method to help cure things like ich if that's what it ends up being. I use it religiously and find it safer then using chemicals and has worked 100% of the time for me. Has kept every fish alive.

Just FYI. If it is Brook. TTM won't do much for it. Brook has a direct life cycle and the parasites can multiply while attached to the fish. So you can't run away from it with TTM.

If flukes are dislodged during FW dip a simple two round (5 days apart) Prazi treatment will usually cure it. As long as you don't come across a prazi resistant strain.

We don't often see ich on clowns. I'm not saying it's impossible. But less likely than Brook/flukes.

Ok so update for everyone I did a fresh water dip last night have them in QT and are acting and lookinh like nothing ever happend thank you all for the help. Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas. Keep a close eye on them if it is Brook the FW dip will have removed a lot of the parasites and provide relief. Could still have an active affliction if goes untreated and come roaring back.

Brooknella or a form of cyst parasite. Water change is first defense, increase in oxygen ( as simple as a small pump and air stone) and assure water temp is 77-70 and not warmer .
PraziPro would be an effective treatment.
