Help. Acan won't open

Until last week the acan was opening up big and fluffy and now it opens but stays really small. There params are 5ppm nitrates ; phos .5ppm; calc :398 ppm alk 8.7 dkh
any help would be appreacited. The top pic was what it looked like no more than a week ago the bottom pic is from tonight.

How long has it remained shrunk? My acans will randomly shrink for 1-3 days every month or 2

The second one was taken while lights weee ramping down but it has been like that for several days regardless of lights

Does everything else look good? My acans open and close regularly throughout the day. When they look like this for a few days, I often find new heads growing. Not always!

It’s been like 3 or 4 days.

Everything else looks good. There are a few new small heads in the colony. Could that be why they aren’t fully opening ?

They are under ai’s. They have been in there for like 7 months or so.
