Help adding tuxedo urchin

I have had my tank set up for a bit and am adding a cuc. I currently am about halfway through quarantine for my snails. I am looking to add an a tuxedo urchin or two. I see where they do not require quarantine only rinsing and adding to the tank. Im trying to do everything right by the animals and also avoid getting anything unwanted into the dt. Can someone briefly describe how to do the rinsing process. I know just use tank water but would I just put it in a net and pour water over it or what? May seem like a simple thing to lots of people but just trying understand things as i go. Searched and seen to rinse but nowhere explaining the process

Rinsing is just what it sounds like. After a drip acclimation I prefer to hold it in my hand as the nets can catch and break spikes and hold onto things you might want rinsed away. hold over a sink or bucket you acclimated in and gently pour several cups of fresh tank water over it until you feel like its well rinsed and then add to your tank.
