Guys,
I really need your advice and help. For almost 6 months I'm trying to get rid of this algae. First I couldn't indetift it correctly, as I am still guessing if this is Botryocladia skottsbergii or botryocladia uvaria. I am changing my water each week. Phosphatages are in normal levels. I have protein skimmer. But that algae continues to evade and spread all over my tank. Any thoughts? I am tempted to use peroxide and dip my live rocks, but don't know what will happen to them afterwards.

Ill lok at the id in a sec, but yea, if you use tank water and peroxide itll be fine. Rinse well, it wont kill the deep bacteria. Scrub too. Be prepared to do it a couple times. I also when pulling rock out add some bottled bacteria just in case I stir stuff up.

Are you using riod water?

And no I don't believe its either of those, it does not look like a bubble algae.
