Help Anemone shedding Good or Bad?

Looks like folds of skin and slime and hopefully the case as nems do not shed.
Try gently blowing the nem with a turkey baster and see if the tissue you see falls off leaving a clean anemone behind. If not, may indicate deterioration

The hermit takes very good care of his nem. He was picking off the skin when I noticed so the skin is definitely falling off. I can still blow at it if you want.

I don't think nitrates being at ten would be that bad, but maybe a 50% water change to get that down to around 5 may help.

Thanks, I may buy one eventually lol. And yes, a WC to remove ammonia and some nitrate may do wonders.

Ammonia should be 0, could be irritating nem, I'd use prime to detox, other than that I don't know.

Can you put prime directly into the tank? Or would it get rid of needed chemicals?
