My bubble rose anenome has been my pride an joy. However yesterday and today it is acting strange and beginning to move. It is normally huge. Could it be that my Xenia which is hughe is pushing him out of his corner. I am posting a picture of when it was happy and now. Should I prune the Xenia sho that he can go bsck to his orginal place? The last picture is when it was in its orginal place.

I appreciate any advice I can get. I am worried about the aneome. It also does not help that my skink shrip disapeared yesterday.

Also I cleaned my tank really well yesterday and water was a little cloudy and is still not crytal clear. Is that normal. I am having the 5 months blues.

32 gallon biocube
Water parameters good 0 amonia
chemipure
purifiltrum and filter that comes with biocube.

Well, a good place to begin is to cull back the xenia and anything touching it, see if it changes.

Do i simply cut the Xenia with scissors or pull up the pieces near the Xenia

Lift off at base of stalks, try to get it all off rock cleanly.

Isnt that anthelia? It forms like a mat, use your fingernail to peal it up.

What is that purple chalice in the center?

Definitely cut back the xenia.... likely it was obstructing light and flow so the BTA moved to find a more preferred spot.

That being said, there's no guarantee that it will move back to the spot before. There's also a chance that it will keep moving until it finds a new spot...so best to keep and eye on it and cover your powerhead, just in case
