I need some ideas/photos of good ways to aquascape a 48x24x24 120 gallon tank. I'm focus on a lps dominated reef with some softies mixed in. I really wanna focus on torches, hammers, frogspawn, some acans and probably a favia or two. I'd expect a few leathers to find their way in as well.

So I've built several SPS reefs over the years but never a lps/softie reef so I'm looking for aquascaping ideas or tips.

I also plenty of dry pukani rock that's pretty nice. Prob 350lb so rock isn't an issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'd do short multiple islands and then let the coral do its thing with the taller ones in the back. It also will give you the ability to move them around when complete if you don't like where a coral is.

For an lps heavy tank, make sure to leave plenty of sand bed for open brains and similar types. They're some of my favorites and I always used to forget to leave them space.

I've been doing some research and I really like the separate island idea. I think the tanks look really nice and provide openness for fish to swim.

Here's a few pics of tanks i found that I like the aquascaping on.

Id recommend islands too, makes it so you have tons of room!
