Help! Are my clams okay??

I freshwater dipped my clams yesterday. One of my maximas hasn't opened and I can't tell if my derasa is gaping.

I did it because I just had one die from pinched mantle and these started showing symtoms.

And i've had them for about a month or two

K so when u did the fw dip u had it temp and buffered to match dkh and ph to match system and let them sit for 25-30 min?

I’ve done it before and saved my derasa. So it works.

They also may take day or 2 before they show signs of improvemnt

Give them time to settle back down. Nothing you can do, really, but wait and see how they react. Keep parameters stable and good levels.

I did it for like 15 minutes and I only matched the temperature. I didn't know I was supposed to match the ph

When snails rush over to anything that's a bad sign, usually means they're eating decaying matter (dead)

Could they be eating matter that could have flaked off during the freshwater dip yesterday?

And i've had them for about a month or two

get those bumble bee snails off of it as they can penetrate flesh with their snout why they are good for vermetid snails.
Overall - clams look good

About 6-ish months

Seems young to be adding clams, but I am not an expert.
