NP. I'm always behind! lol Since I dob't have the Focus yet, and have never combined meds...can you advise and how?

Just to be clear, these fish are in a QT with no inverts or corals, correct?

If so, just follow the directions for each of the 3 products, Kanaplex, Metro, and Furan-2 and dose them into your QT.

Once you get the Focus start using it to bind the Kanaplex and Metro to the food you feed them per the instructions that come with Focus.

I've used that blend before. It didn't hurt anything and has dissolved my fear to mix meds, but it's also worth to mention that furan2 does mention that some biofilter additive would be good to add.

If possible, do a large or 100% water change. Also, turn off uv and skimmer if you happen to have them in your qt.

Agreed. If they weren't in the same tank when the problems started and aren't showing symptoms, I wouldn't treat them with antibiotics.

Antibiotics help the fish's immune system fight off the infection. If the fish seem to be showing no signs of an infection than treating with antibiotics isn't going to do anything constructive. This is different than copper which will eradicate parasites on its own.

No nothing going on. I had a Damsel die early on. The powder blue is the scare'dess that one can imagine[emoji21] it hides anytime I'm nearby. I have seen it eat though.

You dont want to treat prophylactically with antibiotics. If the QT with powder blue isn't showing any signs of bacterial infection, then hold off on treating them with this mix of meds.

The M. Foxface is eating again. He appears very weak though. I have a nano Jabeo in the tank set to 30% pulse mode. When he gets near the powerhead, his body is pulled up against it. He does get himself polled away after several seconds. He either sits at the bottom of the tank or is up to the top/at waterline. Today I changed 25% water as stated by Furan2. Tonight was treatment 3 for Furan2, and second treatments of Kanaplex and Metro. Will keep its condition posted as I'm unsure how it will do/progress/decline and may need further assistance. Thanks!

That's what the bottle says, but I was advised by experts from this forum that only one measure of focus is needed instead of five.

I was advised to do so and have done so without any ill effects.

They are by far the safest thing to use in a reef environment. IME, you will be fine as long as you feed small amounts and the food doesn't disperse everywhere.
