Clowns behave very strangely sometimes, do you see any other abnormal behavior or appearance?

Any dots, dustings, markings, redness, torn fins?

Any twitching or hiding from light?

Some have spots but they are designs. But I have lost 3 fry because yesterday a frame fell and broke my outlet and their power went off. The heater and airstone stopped for about 2 hours ,could that have been a factor for their deaths?

clownfish do that when they are new sometimes. My first pair would hide near a powerhead and the DIY overflow for about 3 months. Then they just get more social. One of those clowns went carpet surfing a year ago or so. when I added a new juvenile he hid by a powerhead and the return nozzle for a little more than 4 months. I even saw mine swimming sideways at the top, but everything was ok. Just a bunch of clowns.

Ok so I guess it's normal, but how old do the fry have to be to be added to the main tank?

Yes the air stone especially

Ok but still they all bunch up in a corner and that worries me a little bit.

That's just where they feel safest. They hang out all bunched up like that for safety as well. Do they have someplace to hide in the tank? PVC elbows? Fake Deco? Something of that nature? It would help them feel more comfortable. You can also cover (black out) the sides and back.

Ok thanks for the info, and how big or how old to add them in the display tank?

I guess that depends on what else is in the display. When they are eating regular food like mysis or pellets. I wouldn't add fry to the display. They look like they have already settled, but are still pretty small. You might wait until they are at least an inch long - bigger is better IME

I have a whole batch doing that same thing at 25 DPH. It's totally normal. I find my larvae are spread out from day 1- day 12ish. Then they stay at the top mostly until 30 DPH, then they descend to the bottom around 31 DPH. It varies though. I have another batch right now that are 16DPH but are totally spread out still.
