Help at a lose

Brand is brs.an it is in a reactor
I don’t know if it would make it slimy but I know if it’s too active in the reactor and not barely tumbling at the top it will grind at each other and break down which you don’t want and it could discolor the water. The slim is what’s throwing me off.

I would also try to backtrack and see if there’s anything you’ve done that may have caused this whether it’s a simple water change. Like when did this all start and did you do anything prior to the events that may have caused it. Like mentioned above it could be a bacterial bloom.

I'm leaning towards a bacterial bloom of some sort. Also, was that .01 for nitrates? That's a bit low.

What sort of animals are you keeping? Are any missing? Definitely need some more water changes I think. :)

That looks like iron in the water. Where are you getting water?
That crossed my mind too. The drilled wells around here can have iron issues.
Rodi system
What's the TDS reading for your product water? The tank water's coloring is similar to an iron bacteria bloom. (very strange) :)

Do you have a UV light?

No uv light. An am not on well water city water but do have rodi system for my water

I don't want to confuse you but, I'm in the "if I show any nitrates then there is enough" camp.
0.01 is plenty. Ammonium is the preferred uptake of coral. If your feeding your fish your feeding your coral. Nitrate is the byproduct, the end result. If there in no ammonia, yes the coral can use it at a extra cost.

What foods are you feeding and how often?
can you post a video showing the flow in your tank?
