Yeah. Again only my opinion. But dinos comes back in 20 mins not a day. Cyano comes back in a day. And I believe dinos are in most tanks. They just don't always show to the naked eye. And trust me, dinos, atleast mine grow on everything! They almost always have air bubbles and stringy sticky streamers coming up into the water column. Usually topped with air bubbles. these are dinos. Yours looks and acts much more like cyano. But again just my opinion.

A good test for the showing area is to touch it with a utensil. Ime cyano will split or break while dinos will stick to the utensil. :-)

I think they would have come back right away. When I removed the cardboard sat night I turned the light on just to take a pic then lights off. Sunday lights on as normal and notice them coming back right away.

Will give this a shot when I get home.

If thats the case i could be wrong. Cyano takes a few hours atleast to show again. Dinos literally will have inch long streamers in 20-30 mins. Ime

Here is a triton test I got back around the time this started. Things are a little higher than what I tested but not to bad I don't think.

After these results I started to does potassium.

Amscope is a good deal for a scope. Under 300$ for 2500 power

My Dinos are slowly going away. Yesterday when I got home there were only a few patches left.[emoji3]

Just got home and my tank is looking even better than yesterday. I want to give a big thanks to everyone who help me with this especially @twilliard and @Russ265. I'm going to keep dosing H202 for a couple more weeks. One more question. I turned the white lights on to take this pic and noticed that my clam has a white stripe going down the front. It looks and is acting normal. Any ideas on what it might be?

But you don't appear to have anything even close to the horror I suffered with dinos.
\
Amen Wiz. Dino's truly are a horror. No matter what I do, they keep coming back but each time weaken a little more. Still, dinos are dinos. I can say with an absolute certainty that I really hate those stupid little slimy critters.
Good luck @smh254 , I hope you do better than I have. Lost a LOT of acropora...

Agreed, none of the traditional methods worked for me. In the end it was a constant siphon For about 3 weeks.Out of the display tank through a filter sock with pads and into the sump. And as you say it weekend every time until eventually it stopped coming back.

There are many uses for h2o2 and my goal is to bring this information forward.
I have started a new project and I think the results will amaze people ;)
