Just did a reset but the ammonia is at 0. I'm going to retest everything when I get home. And it's been 2 months
An aggressive bacterial infection can be devastating if not controlled. Uronema does not need a fish host to survive unfortunatly so you may have problems keeping anthias and chromis.
I never thought about the potential issues but I guess I will never cement my rock now.
Pull the corals and get some ruby reef rally and antibiotics. I think most antibiotics you have to re-dose every day and do water changes (25%?). Have to remove any carbon media and UV. It will probably take a large amount of meds ($$) for 240g and no guarantee it will work. The water changes will be rough too, not sure what skipping that part and just redosing will do.
I have never dosed in the display but not sure what else you can do if you don't take the fish out. Most of these fish look too far gone to just feed them better and it sounds like this came on really fast.

Yeah it came in like 4 days and I ordered some ruby rally. Crazy part the chromis are prefect and un effected

Formalin sometimes works for FW ich, but not marine ich. The normal dose is 25 ppm for a 24 hour bath.

Anyone got any ideas? Is this flukes or ich? Noticed last night, I put them in QT with coppersafe, they are eating and still very hungry as normal. I gave them a 3 minute fresh water dip before QT. They are not swimming in front of the power head like I’ve seen with velvet before. If it’s flukes will I need to change water with coppersafe before adding prazipro or ParaGuard?

Formalin is time/concentration based dosing. The highest you can go as a static bath is 25 ppm. That isn’t enough to cure ich. You can dose higher, but as a bath, so putting the fish back into the same tank just reinfects it.

Youd be surprised at how many fish you can actually catch. I’ve caught big and small fish in my 300g. The key is divide and conquer. You can use plastic gutter guard to divide the tank and get fish in smaller sections. You can then lower the water level. You should be able to get them all out. Or at least focus on the
ones you want to save the most.

Hi, Sorry you are going through this.
You most likely have Ich or Brook in that Tank. You gotta take your Coral out and treat the fish in your display Tank because that's where the problem is. I don't think going fish less or anything like will work and honestly I wouldn't take the chance. You should also use Scheme Copper, Copper Power is not the same and isn't as effective. If it was me I would start doing this immediately. Slowly raise the temperature to 80 degrees and drop the salinity to 1.021.
