I helped my parents set up a tank and since they're on a budget went with a Chinese Black box with Wifi. The light follows the programmed schedule in the AquaDim3 app perfectly (on at 10 am and off at 915pm) until midnight when it comes back on and it power cycles sporadically sometimes staying on as long a 5 or 6 minutes sometimes as rapidly as a couple of seconds. I assume this continues until the first time point in the "sunrise" starts, but I haven't stayed up all night to watch this.
I'm leaving in a few days an would really like to have this figured out before I go because lord knows I won't be able to troubleshoot this with technologically impaired parents 5 states away.
