Came home today to a dead mandarine and noticed my blue hippo looking really rough. It’s got what appears to be White traces / steam like coming out of its skin. They appear like white spots in the photo but they’re like little white tags hanging out of the skin.

Can this spread to other fish? Worried about my clowns too.

Your description is quite perplexing, can you provide a clearer photo for us?

Lol tell her to sit still! I’ll try again today with my blues off.
I can confirm it’s not on this chart.

If you’ve ever seen how they tag/release fish, it looks like she has 40 tiny tags stuck to her. This happened overnight, she was suuuper healthy and plump prior. Wish me luck with better pics lol.

I’d start with a 5 minute FW dip in a dark bucket and see what falls off.

Tried to catch her for months, she’s too big for the DT now. Think my only resort will be barbless hook/line. Even bought a nice fancy glass trap it wouldn’t get even close to it lol.

I’m having difficulty seeing anything definitive there at all.

Any heavy breathing?
