Help.. Bubble.... frogspawn

So this bubble appeared today and I just got home and noticed it. Anyone help on whathis I can do or should do.

0_0 that doesnt look like a good thing... following as I have both hammers and frogspawns so I'd love to know whats the deal with this one

Lights been the same. No changes in lights nor times. had the coral for about 6 months or so now never moved glued it there the day I got it. Just appears during the day today as I look at my tank every day.


Was informed fromantic a fellow reef2reef to move it down as it don't require a lot of light

Many reefers may not have seen this before but it's not uncommon. The bubble is, I believe, a protruding mouth. This sometimes precedes the head splitting. I have heard of these bubbles lasting up to a year. But about a month is average.

Yup. I agree with this. I had it happen to mine. Freaked me out but what i noticed is the head ended up splitting 3 ways from the bubble instead of the usual 2 way split. I wouldnt be worried as long as it looks healthy beside the bubble.

It's OK, actually doing great, just splitting. Soon you'll have more frogspawn.
