Guys I’m having a blonde moment so any mathmations out there please help

Tank is irregular triangle measuring 90 and 93 deep, 125 long and 80 high

So what’s the volume?

Are you describing a rounder corner tank or a literal triangle, three sided tank?

So what’s the volume?

First, be sure you're getting the internal measurements, not the external. And take into account the water line.

For example, I have a tank that's 60"x30"x 18", which is 32,400 cubic inches; 32,400 cubic inches is 140.26 gallons.
But - the glass is 3/4" thick on the bottom and 1/2" on the sides. So it's really 59x29x17.25, plus the water is roughly 3/4" below the top, and the tank is rimmed so there's another 3/4 inch total from the height (3/8" top and 3/8" bottom). Not even accounting for sand, rocks, etc, the volume now comes to just under 111 gallons. That's almost a 30 gallon difference.

Yeah thanks, the measurements are the water lines as you mentioned, I will take into consideration-35kg rock and 2kg sand

(90x93x80)/2=334800 cubic cm =88 gallons.

That's a huge tank!
Edited to assume cm, not inches.

Maybe, but the op is in Europe, so those dimensions are most likely metric.

It would be if those were my dimensions but if you check you’ve made a typo there
I wish that was the size but I’m in a poxy 2 bed apartment not a palace

But remember that all the advice out there about tank volume and various livestock is generally based on the "dry" or "empty" volume.

Is it 225 ltr then ?
I’m dosing nopox so needed to know the volume so tank 300+225 sump = 525 ltr
I was dosing 12ml thinking the sump was 100ltr and nitrates over 10ppm so I’ll check the dose for the correct volume

1. 10ppm of Nitrates is not high at all and likely needs no intervention

2. For carbon dosing, knowing the *exact* volume isn't necessary... Just get an estimate, initially dose about 1/2 of what's recommended on the bottle, and adjust upward as needed.

@Miami Reef is a good resource for carbon dosing.
