HELP! CARPENTERS FLASHER WRASSE JUMPED

Hey guys just a minute ago my wrasse jumped I have a 200 gallon red sea reefer with no lid he is ok I was able to put him back in the tank but he is breathing heavy and hiding in his whole he is still alive but he is only moving his eyes he is bruised up pretty bad what should I do I have had him now for 8 months he was eating fine there was no fights I also have in the tank

Honestly, just get a lid, fish jump even in a happy and healthy tank.

My fairy wrasse has landed on the floor at least 4 times and that's WITH a tight fitting lid lol. Your Carpenter will probably be back out swimming by tomorrow. Just leave him alone and don't stress him further.

Even if he is badly injured I don't think there's much you can do about it.

Definitely put a top on your tank.

Mine just did this last week when I was taking a algae clip out put him back in and he was little shaken up for the rest of the night next day was swimming around like nothing happened
