HELP, carpet anemone dying.

good morning all. I checked the tank this morning after making those changes last night, and now every fish in my tank is dead. Would any of you like to elaborate on why you gave me advice that wiped out my whole tank.

what exactly did you do? All livestock is dead ? Sorry for your losses.

can you share some specifics of what happened?

Sounds like he went from 22 to 35 ppt in one night instead off gradually. When increasing salinity, you need to go very slow. Given his stated experience, one would think he should know this, but on the other hand I don't see many or any mentions of taking it slow in the responses to him.

I don’t even know where to begin. Let’s just wrap this up and move on. Op obviously does not know what he is doing and blaming people who are trying to help is laughable. Saying that the LFS gave you misinformation is nothing new. They will sell you anything. You could easily google any and all the proper information with detailed descriptions with videos and pictures. Ever hear of YouTube? Changing any kind of conditions, especially salinity and temperature must be done gradually. Someone who has owned aquariums for the last 15 years should know. Did you pour salt right into the tank? Did you do any kind of supplemental water changes? Research and preparation is a fundamental component of the salt water game. I feel sorry for your livestock.
