Hi,
Im really new to this hobby. I have had a 50 (it was established) for a few months and it has become to small. I picked it up an OCEANIC 125 and 6' Orbit light off of CL (it was in storage).
The pump (Quiet One 6000) is very noisy!! The impellor armature has a funny looking spot on it. Not sure if replacing the impellor will help. Thinking I will get a new pump and keep the other for a spare (Noisy One 6000).
I am looking for some options on a replacement.
What I have is rated @ 1506 gph and adjusted for head is about 700-800 gph (I think).

I need an external pump that actually is quiet!~
What do yall recommend to fit this application??

reeflo pumps are great pumps for a great price and fairly quiet. you could probably get by with a dart external. Or perhaps one of the Blowhole series. I just got a few of the BH2700 and they are great little pumps. Awesome pressure and three speed settings.
