I need help choosing a light for my innovative marine lagoon 25 gallon shallow tank. I recently got a AI Prime HD and didn't like the look and it didn't cover the tank. Had a lot of shadowing as seemed to be too dark. I've also had a kessil a160we tuna blue but didn't like the growth rate. Any help?

No more spotlights. (I may have said something to this effect before.) ;)

Check out the Current Orbit Marine Pro strip-format LED's.....a strip will be much nicer in terms of shadows.

Hamilton Technology and GHL also make good strips, depending on what you want. Others too I'm sure. Most folks skip over LED strips for the glitz associated with the spotlights....not sure why though since glitz doesn't help! ;)

For a tank like that our Nano Light WiFi would cover a mixed reef well, they have about 4 times the LED spread of the AI primes, since we have our LEDs in distributed clusters vs. packing them all in one spot.

If you want even more coverage, take a look at our SuperLux, or the Photon 16-V2, both of which would be plenty of light for end-to-end coverage on an sps dominant reef tank.
