Hey reefers I need some help picking out the lighting I want to go with on my 220, which is 30" deep. I was looking at doing 3-4 AI Hydras 26s though this may not be the best option. So now I need your help with selecting the best light for my needs.

First, tank dimensions, 72"L x 24" W x 30"H , this should help, the tank does have 2 brackets so it is divided into 3 sections.

Second, I am planning on mainly doing a heavy Softie and LPS tank, with maybe a little SPS on top of my rock peaks.

Third, I want is good value, I want something that will last but is not going to cost me a ton of money, I prefer LED over T5s and Metal Halide light as I do not have to worry about replacing bulbs or having the right bulbs in for the correct spectrum. I do want controllability whether it be built into the light, need a controller or can use my Apex. I was looking at the AI Hydra 26s or 52s, and Maxspect Razer but I am open to any lighting solution.

You may be able to get away with three 26's but it would be a stretch, especially if you want to go heavier with SPS in the future. 2 26's and a 52 in the middle may work a bit better but that also depends on your budget and how you want the tank to look aesthetically. It all sort of depends on how you build your aquascape too.

I thought about that but I kinda like having the same light across, though I am not against it. Overall I would say budget for lighting would be between $1600-$2200 for everything that I would need for the lights

Kessil 360WE - 1 puck
Hydra 52 - 2 pucks
Hydra 26 - 1 puck
Reefbreeders photon v2
Radion XR30 - 1 puck
Photon V2 . .. These are the ones I've been looking at , have a 125 gallon 6ft wide ,, will need 3 sets since my tank has 2 brackets aswell

All within your budget and more light than you will ever need.

Kessil 360WE - 1 puck , $350
Hydra 52 - 4 pucks - $600
Hydra 26 - 2 puck. - $350
Radion XR15 Pr - 1 puck $400
Radion XR30 Pr - 2 puck $800 .. .and that doesn't include extra hardware
, , that hurts Erik, but keep hearing great things in the Hydra

To continue the hydra 52 have built in WiFi so no extra cost for wireless and more pucks for better light spread for the price I would go with hydras they are proven to be great for the money.
