Help Choosing new Calcium Reactor

My curent Calcium reactor Avast Marine is just not keeping up. I have a 170ish Gallon over all SPS heavy system. I am needing to fill the reactor with about 2.5 + cups of original corse Reborn media every 3 weeks or so. I am looking to upgrade the reactor to a larger one leaning towards a Geo but what size reactor 618 , 624 , 818 ?
Other options Reefocto or others ?
ATM My Avast is running 85 ml/m at a fluent of 30DKH. Tuned as best as I could as per @jda instructions.

A Geo 624 would work well.
A lifereef would also be a top choice.

Looked at the Deltec but just too rich for me atm however I have a friend said he will sell me his 1500 twin etc for 1k so looking going that way.

I have a 150 gallon.
75 percent sps
25 percent lps. (Hammers and torches)
I am wondering about the aquamaxx t-1 I have made a few post snd they all says they are nit very good. But I see others on YouTube with them. (The people I ask all have 800 or 1200 dollsr reactor)

You can make any carx work if you know how to set one up correctly, imo.
I run a Tunze 3171 on my 80 and ran it on my 120, build thread.
They are small and effiecient.

I did modify a Skims 6" media reactor and ran it untill I took the 120, mostly sps system down.

I think any decent carx will work for you. The best advice is get a quality 2 stage regulator and a Kamoer peristaltic pump.
I would not run a carx without a peristaltic pump.

I run no ph probe or controller on my carx system. Super simple to opperate.

I am setting up my 45 frag system to run a carx from 2 part.

Current Tunze 3171 on my 80g.

From personal experience the Geo product is top notch quality and the customer service I have received has been exceptional.

I used a 624 on a 180 gallon DT (220 total volume) 80/20 SPS/LPS.

They are nice quality reactors. Im looking at one now for my 45.
May look at a lifereef but I have a geo locally that I may get.

I started with a Korallin and now have a GEO 618. The Korallin worked awesome except for the dread bubble every time I changed media. The Geo reactors are amazing. Super easy to figure out, versatile for how you want to run it (controlled or manual) and my favorite part: GEO Reef carries spare parts, and that includes parts that allow you to continue using older models. After having experienced over and over buying equipment only to have the manufacturer disappear, and then having said equipment break down because of one tiny part that you can’t locate elsewhere, a long standing company is a real blessing. Way better than trying to jury rig a random part or having to just give up altogether because of a crack you can’t seal etc. FWIW GEO also offers add on chambers so you can expand your media capacity.

I really did like the super tall long contact in the Korallin C-3000 series calcium reactors, because they were the most efficient I ever used, but I couldn’t find parts anymore and mine cracked after decades of use. Sigh. RIP old favorite manufacturers.

Well I dont have a nano anymore, lol. A 618 or 624 is what im looking at. I may use my 6" Skimz. Its easy to dial down a larger reactor. I just have limited space in the 45,s sump.
