I have been trying to catch this clown fish for 3 days now & i finally caught him. I have put him in huge ziplock bag w/ air reator pumping air into it. Will this fish be ok & live for 12 hours until the local fish store opens. This fish has turned un-reef safe.
he is on a war path & killing a lot of my corals. As much as i hate him, i dont really want to kill him so i trying to give him away

He will be fine. They ship fish in bags longer then 12 hours. If anything when you wake up do a little wc for him

What kind of clownfish?

He will be fine. Fish get shipped in *sealed* bags for over 24 hours.

I would be more concerned if there was no bubbler, but with a bubbler all is well.

Maroon & yellow clown. He is a animal. he prob 5 to 6 yrs old & has decided to become a grotch & is destroying everything in sight

Those clown get really big from What I saw at my lfs. I would ask the lfs for maybe credits if possible.

Fish is more likely to die in an aerated bag than a sealed bag. Ammonia becomes toxic when exposed to air. That's why fish can be shipped overnight and look fine in the bag and when you open it they start to look ill. There needs to be some type of nitrifying bacteria in an aerated container. A breeder net or a plastic container with holes kept in the display is a better option.
