HELP! Custom Aquarium seamless sump water noise.

Hi, I am using the custom aquarium seamless sump. Unfortunately the flow from the 4 sock tub into the refugium is a very loud slashing water sound. I tried putting a PVC extension to put the overflow 1" below water and that produces a loud suction sound in the sock tub. Any ideas to quiet this down. I have a video attached...

Found your post in researching the purchase of a Custom Aquariums system. Did you ever find a solution for the water noise? Any way to add floss to "soften" the falling water?
