Hi Guys,

I need some light please. Last week I spent hours shopping for my new tank (looking for 48x24x24). I found a good company with tons of experience with acrylic tanks and I ended up buying one from them. Here's comes my concern. Today they showed me a picture of the tank built ready to go and I was so excited that I forgot to ask with the was rimless. Well, turns out that is NOT and then to make things ever worst the tank has a HUGE top brace reinforcing the tank. For the first time I wanna try SPS and I'm gonna be running 2x Photon's 48V2. Would that piece of acrylic mess with my color spectrum or dark areas in the tank?

Please help.

Here some pictures:

By the end of the day I got an amazing deal from them. The tank with high quality acrylic, overflow box and drilled at my taste for 550 shipped. It was retailed for 1050.

Probably won't be an issue as acrylic is 25x clearer than standard (non low iron) glass.
The only hangup you may have is keeping the area in front of the overflow clean on the INSIDE of the tank. Take it from my experience, you will want to give that are a good wipe regularly to prevent any long term buildup of discoloration. A couple minutes as often as you can stand should keep that area as clear as the day you bought it.
Great tank by the way, do a build thread when you get it home . Everyone loves a good build thread...

Thanks you SO much @ndrwater,

I feel much better now. Regarding the cleaning that would be the easiest part since I work from home and I never have the pleasure meet someone pickier than I.

Best Regards
