Help. Don't know what happened

Apex users I need your help
Yesterday I hooked up another eb8 to my system. Now I'm getting these messages saying failed with date and time. Then restored with date and time.
I go on fusion and I know longer can see my salinity or wattage usage.
Did I possibly do something wrong? I mean it's only a plug in of USB. Bad USB wire? Bad eb8?
I'm on dashboard and I see my skimmer says it's still on. I go in basement where apex is and skimmer is off and won't turn on now

What APEX are you using? My experience is with Apex 2016 and the EB832. You mention USB. Are you using an Apex AquaBus cable? Neptune stays to not use USB cables. Have you looked at the circuit breaker (small yellow push button) on the back of the EB832? If you can push it in then the circuit breaker, on the EB832, tripped. Have you update the firmware for the EB832?
