Dissolve 100g into 1L RODI. You now have 100,000ppm solution, dose accordingly. :)

Heat may be required to get it all too disolve

Seem to recall someone using it and having problems due to other ingredients.
There are a few threads if you search for stump.
Hydro algae fertilizer is safe but more money

What are the measurements for mixing this product.

I use 2 tbsp per 1000 ml for a weak solution. About 15 ml adds less than .25 ppm to 200g. You could definitely go stronger. I am going to dbl the amount next time I mix a batch. What I suggest is you measure Nitrate, dose, wait an hour then measure again. You can then get an idea of what your dose should be.

You should check out the reef chemistry form. There is a lot of information in there. You can also ask the expert, @Randy Holmes-Farley for help.

I do similar; 2 TBSP sodium nitrate to 2 cups water. I dose a certain amount daily and monitor to figure out the dosage of that solution. Worked out to 10 ml a day for me.

Not sure if available in US, but I dose Colombo Nitrate Plus - is a reef aquaria grade product from a Dutch company. Dosing is clear on label

I have used the stump remover and it worked just fine. I put a half cup of it into a gallon a RODI water to make a stock solution.

I now use food grade sodium nitrate. I feel that there is less risk of dangerous impurities in the food grade product but that is as much hope as anything.

I used the same mixture and it took 5 tablespoons to register any nitrates with the Redsea test, my tank is 265g.

I guess that I should mention that I have a refugium with chaeto.
