[help] EcoTech MP10 control question

do you need ReefLink to control your MP10 modes such as which time has which mode like lagoon mode and reef crest mode on your PC? or as long as you have MP10wQD version you can control your mode with your PC?

the mp10 does not have a built in way to connect wirelessly to a network. You can only use the controller to set modes. Reeflink enables the pump to talk to your router and the software.

if i have no intention of getting reeflink nor apex then i don't have to get the MP10wQD, correct? i can just buy MP10QD which is about 50 dollars cheaper

Correct. You can always buy the wireless module and install it at a later time for $50.
