So I just noticed that my elegance coral is slowly moving away from it's skeleton. No other areas in the tissue part are dying. Is there anything to do or is this doomed?? I love this little guy and would hate to see him die.. it's about a year old.

I just killed mine due to some chemistry fluctuations. They're pretty painful to lose. I hope yours pulls through!
Ughhh I think I did that to mine.. i haven't been able to give my tank the attention it deserves due to life being hard lately. I've seen where they can attach to rocks sometimes and survive without it's skeleton but not sure.

Mine was declining slowly. I moved it to a shady are where it gets minimal light now and it exploded to football size. Maybe try low light?
