My tank has been overrun over with blue mushrooms. They essentially cover every surface of my rockwork now and it's starting to hurt the base of my SPS colonies. Is there anything I can introduce that would naturally consume these pests? I've tried burning with kalkwasser paste and it simply shrinks them for a week and they come right back. Maybe I need to consistently burn them every couple days? Just not a fan of how it can impact water chemistry...

Thanks

Frank's F-aiptasia is pretty strong and good at killing them, but need to cover all the tissue. It works better on ones smaller than a quarter. I've used vinegar and been able to have really small ones release from the rock. You may be able to scrape them off with a siphon made with stainless steel straws.

I'm at the point of removing entire rocks, they will eventually cover my entire tank.

I have a similar problem with green hairy mushrooms in my 40 gallon tank. I'm considering just removing the rocks to a separate container where I can either chip them off of the rockwork into mini frags or just rip them off entirely.
