Plumbed UV into second return and having trouble figuring out the head pressure to GPH. The pump says it only handles 12ft head pressure but according to what some people say I would have 15ft+

Well the pump almost puts out the same amount as my main line which is the same pump

VECTRA s2 for both returns

Here’s the setup
It’s a redsea 425xl

I have 2 s2’s in a similar setup. Also have one plumbed to UV. The one to the IV has a flow sensor. It gets 240 GPH when running at 100%. I think it’s common to learn after installing a flow sensor that we think we’re pushing a lot more GPH than we actually are. So now I have them both set to 100% each and figure my 112 gallon tank is getting 500 gphish.

Oh wow, I don’t doubt it tbh. 240 gallons is a lot more than I thought I guess. I had it on 10% . I cranked it to 50%
