HELP! Filefish has pop eye!

my favorite fish has pop eye! Can pop eye kill it, and how do I treat it without medicine since it’s a reef tank and not all medicine is safe? Once if it’s eyes are normal, and the other one is the one that’s popped. My tank had been cycled for a year, all parameters are stable too, and no aggressive fish are in the tank that ever pick on him.

Can popeye result in death? Yes, possible but unlikely. I don’t usually do anything and the fish almost always recovers as long as it’s otherwise healthy. Occasionally the eye is lost.
