I have a 20 gal AIO with HOB refugium & skimmer, and Trident. Heavily loaded Mixed reef you could say almost wall to wall. My tank is thriving and everything is growing well.

I am slowly trying to wind down the Kalk and Soda Ash and go AFR but the smaller tanks are difficult to maintain a PH so I am not sure if I will be able to do that or not?

Here is my current regimen:
All For Reef (AFR): 30ml
Kalkwasser: 410ml
Soda Ash: 7ml
AcroPower: 6ml

I feel like I am dosing way too much but I wanted to get some additional input to see if I am off. Will I be able to wind down the kalk and Soda Ash and maintain PH? I feel like 30 ml of AFR and 41-ml of Kalk is way too much for a 20 gal tank but my levels are maintaining stable. Can I slowly wing off the kalk and continue upping the AFR?

If you have low pH issues already, and are replacing hydroxide dosing via kalkwasser and carbonate dosing with a two part, then switching to AFR will certainly cause the low pH issues to grow, and you may need to look for other methods of pH maintenance if it drops beloew your target range.
