Im in Florida right now and I plan on going to WWC once or twice while im down here. I already have some pre-ordered stuff:xd: but im still bringing some extra money, just incase.

Im going to have $200-$250, and I want to get one frag of something pretty nice. What are some cool things ,in that price range, that we do not see on their site?

Pics would be nice too!

Thanks,
Kelby

I have a few that I like a lot that aren't even the high end ones;

beaker bob's flying saucer
Mountain Dew
Lil B's watermelon

are all sweet.

Of course, they are tons more that are awesome in the $150+ range

Nice choices xmetal - i dig all of them. I wouldnt even doubt if you visit WWC you might even be able to get break on some of the pricing!!

I know I spent about 3 hours there when I was in Fla for the champs sports bowl last year. That store was definately one of the best parts of my trip. I was expecting a huge fancy store when I was driving there, but it is smaller than my apt. However, they did a great job at setting up the store.

You wont know till you see what they have In person lol. Some of their best stuff is not listed on there site. Some look better in person believe it or not. HTh

I agree... I was there this past summer and the best you could do is just save some time to look at the tanks for a couple of hours and decide what you want! they will readily cut you a frag of almost anything they have in their displays...if they don't have it already healed in the frag tanks

I am hoping to make a trip up later this year myself...thats funny because i always that it was a big store too

Whatever you decide is going to be a tough choice. There are so many to choose from. Just make sure to post a pic of it here when you get back.

I was there on Saturday and they had the entire display tank changed. The big one which had high end chalice colonies now had chalice frags. I think they took all the colonies and cut them up. I love the toxic pie. I bought one a few months ago after seeing the mother colony in the display. Some of the chalices like Halloween, hologen, creamsickel are more than $300. Some of their watermelons are really nice. But maybe of of stock. It will take you no time to spend the money. I always end up spending more than I say I will spend.

When you're there, be sure to look behind the tanks. They have their frags stashed behind the wall along the side of the tanks where the plumbing is. Good group of guys that work there. Victor is the man to deal.

Z-man you are right about the "behind the scenes corals". I remember many times looking for something but not sure what. They would open the "Staging area" and show me frags that they have only one or two of. Just let them know you perfer say watermelons they will show you the ones or twos in the back.

Also if you have been there before it was easier to find while driving on OBT. They had a giant billboard right in front of the place. Well they lost the billboard, it is now a fitness gym add.

"I always end up spending more than I say I will spend"...This would be reason enough for me to only bring cash and leave credit/debit cards at home LOL

Thanks for the feedback guys!
I was aware of the secretish tanks, but I wasnt sure what exactly they held.
That sucks about the sign, that helped finding it ,ALOT, last time. Now it all depends on the gps,great..hahahah

We have a TON to choose from KLR. We are looking forward to meeting you! Here are some of my personal favorites in no particular order.

2. WWC Jolly Grape Watermelon

Kelby you got that eye man I don't think you need our help honestly.... Best advice I can give ya is don't buy it for the name get something that catches your eye..... 1smile1

I do miss the display tank. You can see something that catches youe eye and ask about it. Unless you know what the mature colony looks like it is hard to tell from a 1"x1" one eye frag what it is going to look like.

Don't worry. Our new tank will be here soon! Then you can enjoy everything in it's full glory. :xd:
