Got this guy about a month ago. Doesn't seem to be growing like i thought it would. My parameters are in check. I think its getting enough light and flow. Any thoughts tips would be appreciated.

looks like blastos to me. SOme are not quick growers. Plus some coral takes longer than a month to completely adjust to a new system and begin to thrive. They look healthy and happy to me. Try supplemental feeding with coral frenzy or reef roids something like that. That will help it grow in my exp

I agree with what's been said above. I've found that my Blastomussas do better in lower light. On the bottom like you have it should be good for it, depending on your lighting of course.

+1, For what it's worth, i have a pineapple acan, two heads, healthy as can be with very little growth. Just something to keep in mind; just because a coral isn't growing rapidly, that doesn't mean its not healthy per say. It could just be the coral itself, or other small factors not directly inhibiting the overall well being of the coral. Good luck!

+100!
I have a ton of zoas and palys that all grow at different rates but theyre all happy and healthy. One grows 5+ heads a month, others sprout a single baby in the same time frame.

merletti blasto. lower light and patience. I've seen 3 heads turn to 5 in a 6 month span. that specimen you have looks nice and healthy

Be happy it still alive and healthy after a month;) are you dosing anything to help growth? Such as foods, trace elements? That will help with growth and health, just watch you Po4's and No3's
