We are setting up our first saltwater tank (90 gal) and we bought a Reef Octopus Regal 150 Int skimmer for it. First let me say that the documentation provided by Reef Octopus with the skimmer is pitiful and I had to resort to web searches and video watching to figure out how to do the basic setup, and I'm not sure if the setup is correct because....
I powered up the skimmer for the first time today and it produced "Billions and Billions" of micro bubbles that are not contained within the skimmer and they subsequently end up in the display tank. It appears that many of the bubbles are escaping near the fitting where the pump attaches to the skimmer housing. I checked that connection and fitting and it doesn't appear that I can adjust it to 'seal' it and prevent the bubble extravaganza from escaping.
See (hopefully) attached video.
Suggestions?
Thanks.
