My fish weren't supposed to arrive until tomorrow, they arrived this morning at 11. Just got home, they've been inside in bags all day, they are drip acclimating right now what should I do, they are all breathing very heavily

Use a cup to take water out and put a cup of tank water in. Do this every 3-4 minutes.

They have been in the bags to long and now a high risk of fast ammonia build up.

It is now key to get them out of that bad water and into the next tank.

Also, document this with who ever you ordered them from ASAP.

I told them, they say I'm wrong. Worrying, couple of the fish are good sized

A bit late but put a few drops of Prime in the bags if you cant take the fish out of the bags right away

i would actually at that point just take them and put them in the DT or QT with no acclimation if they are in that bad of shape when receiving them doing a prolonged acclimation when they are stressed like that might actually make it worse

They're in the tank now, the fish all are acting pretty normal, mostly swimming about except the fox face. The hippo though is just in the top corner above the powerheads. Is there anything I can do?

I place multiples in large tubs with airstone adding tank water every 15 mins in a quart Chinese cup for 6-8 fifteen minute cycles then gently net them out into display

When I have situations like this they usually just get dumped right in the tank. If slight emergency usually change half the water out, fill with tank. Give 5 minutes then let them go.

Match your QT water salinity and temp to what's in the bag, then plop the fish in.
I would not enter ANY of the bag water unless an ammonia spike is invited.

Sounds like your ok. The Rabbit Fish is normal for them to hide for a few hours to few days when new.

Hippo Tang same thing... offer those guys some nori seaweed on a clip and step back from the tank, and you will be good to go!!!

Sounds positive...
