Help fish is having seizures

I bought a clownfish two weeks ago and I think something might be wrong. Every time I take him out of the fish bowl to play with him he starts flopping around like he is having a seizure, the seizures are so violent that after about thirty seconds he almost seems lifeless and I have to put him back in his bowl to rest and recover. Is there some medicine I can get him or is he doomed to have seizures everytime we play?

Put a tongue depressor in his mouth so he doesn't swallow his tongue while convulsing. Since his mouth is so small, I'd use a toothpick. Cut a Xanax into 1/4, crumble it into 1/4 teaspoon of plain old tap water. Administer orally. He will calm down in no time.

I would try a different method. Get him to calm down and learn you are not the enemy by joining him in the fish bowl. Go buy a clown fish colored one piece swimsuit and climb on in. When you have successfully reduced the amount of fear he will have less seizures outside of the tank.

Try letting him out more often so he gets used too it. I play w mine on the carpet they seem to react better. Yours is probably just lazy needs more play time. Also mine loves the cat let them play together just put them in a room together they will be fine.
